Background |
3 and a half years at Starfleet Academy 1st post was aboard the Nebula-Class starship Gryphon, a fact that his other junior officer's gave him no small grief over. Nevertheless, he proved himself to the senior officers, displaying that he had what it took to be shift leader in engineering, and often submitted ideas for modifications to his Chief, some of which were sent on to Earth for additional research. Brief stint at back at Starfleet HQ, analyzing deep-space exploration data.. His predilection for getting just far enough into the restricted data to not get into trouble led to a recommendation that he seek a new post, preferably one away from Earth. After serving as the Constellations CEO, some inquiries revealed that the tension between him and HQ had eased, allowing him to officially join the R&D division, including a retroactive authorization for the restricted information he had once been chastised for. Additionally, his promotion to the rank of Commander finally came with his own R&D unit. When the Vanguard was announced as a deep-space vessel, Greggory requested a transfer, wanting to get back to the exploration and discovery part of Starfleet, where his technical experience could be applied practically.

Personality Profile |
Expressive, but pensive. Definitely seems to benefit from a wisdom beyond his years, but in a moment can change to a youthful exuberance, especially when he's got a new 'toy.' His curiosity can be a strength and a weakness, providing creative insights but risking obsession.
Ambitions : To command his own science vessel, with the commensurate resources to explore the creative frontiers. |
